One of my favorite books is the Dao of Capital by Michigan native and hedge fund genius Mark Spitznagel. Who doesn't predict the market but mitigates risk in a strategy that was developed by Nassim Taleb. He talks about how the markets are meant to shake out the weak hands during a market crash.
Universa provides an insurance like payoff similar to how a certain tennis tournament that was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic received a huge insurance pay off... Optionality and risk mitigation in life. People don't do what is convenient and then they repent he says at the end of the Bloomberg news interview you can watch here:

According to the free dictionary Ruddy is related to ruddier, ruddiest, and gaieties. The last one seems like a stretch compared to the 1st two related keywords but maybe I should Google what Gaieties means before going any further.
Okay so it means entertainment or amusements on one line and the other describes it as "
